Classic Accessories – PolyPro III RV Cover – Class “C”

This is the first time I have ever owned a RV cover. On the old RV I never gave it much thought, being cladded in Aluminum siding; but with the new RV being fiberglass and rubber roofed I thought it best to cover for the winter.

The cover came all rolled up in a stuff bag that looks like it might be big enough to re-roll the cover into it come spring. The material itself appears to be tough and resilient, with an extra layer of material on the outside of the roof panel. The cinch straps and gusset grommets for tying down the cover, all appeared to be well stitched into the cover and could take some tension. The fitted elastic corners allowed for the cover to be pulled tight on the RV and form fit it, so that it was tight against the walls of the RV.

Once cinched and strapped down under the RV the cover was tight on the RV, and did not flap around in the first wind storm it suffered. Covering the RV was a bit of a challenge as it was the first time, I was not sure which way was up. Certainly spreading the cover out over the roof was challenging by myself. That was the hard part; once I figured out which way was up, and the cover was spread out, the rest was easy to drop it over the side and let it fall to the bottom of the walls. At this point it was like putting on a fitted sheet on your mattress, easy!

Over all the quality and fit seem to be worth the money I spent on this item.  I guess we will see come spring how well it held up to an Alberta winter.
