For the money this is a great water filter that won’t break the bank. At 5 microns with activated carbon this filter will filter out the worst that water can hide and give you a nice clean, clear and great tasting glass of water. The filters for this unit are replaceable and cost effective with one cartridge lasting a full season, but it may have to be changed more frequently if the water you are filtering is really poor quality.

I bought two of these filters and mounted on permanently in my wet bay where my city water intake is located and plumbed it in so that I have an easy to hook up system. The other filter I use to filter the water that I place in my on board water tank and water containers.

I have used this filtration system for a full season and have not been disappointed with its quality or the quality of the water it filters. By using this system we have been able to do away with bottled water for drinking, and now use our onboard water tank.
