Here is a Good Sam article (American I Know L) that denotes the virtues of staying at a private campground Scotia Pines in Nova Scotia. This campground is minutes away from the Fundy Tidal Bore, where you can see a river run backwards. Also you can experience the drastic tidal movements on the Bay that are the highest on the face of the earth. This campground promotes over 230 sites with full services and 30 and 50 amp power. There are also laundry facilities in the park. Sounds like a good place to stop for a few days, of course you will need reservations.
