Protestors at BC’s Golden Ears Provincial park won a a small victory on Thursday. The provincial government backed down on turning the park into 100% reservable for the 2019 camping season. Instead it will hold the line at 85% reservable and 15% for first come, first served. Considering that the provinces statistics show that there is a higher demand for reservable sites, and that their mandate is to increase reservable sites based on demand; the protestors win is significant.
