Our Story

Hi were the Glampurs. We are Steven and Lorraine and we live in Calgary Alberta Canada. We have been RVing as a couple for 10 years with our families, kids, and of course our Dog and cat. We have traveled all over Alberta and British Columbia in our Class "C" RV's.

Our children are grown-up and our pets have aged, and we found that our lives were moving into a new chapter in our book of life. We found ourselves RVing mostly by ourselves and with our pets, and all of of a sudden our choices opened up for exploring.

With Grandchildren on the way and a change in our lifestyle it was time to upgrade our old 26' foot Class "C" to a more roomier and modern 32.5' foot RV. We are on RV number 3 which we bought in January of 2018, and have enjoyed immensely so far.

As we have begun to RV more as a lifestyle than as a vacation, we noticed that most of the blogs, websites and podcasts dealt with RVing in the United States and there was only some content for the Canadian Camper. It was with this thought that the Canadian Glampur was born.  We hope to share our experiences glamping across this great country we call Canada and provide insight and knowledge about the Canadian camping experience.
